Chelsea: Hey, hennapreneurs welcome. Okay. I am going to share this video really quickly over into the Hennapreneur community, because that's what we do. And then we'll get started. How are you guys doing this afternoon? I hope everyone is doing great. I'm super excited to connect with you today. I've got a couple of announcements for us, which is super exciting as always.

Okay. Awesome. So we got that shared over. So hello. hennapreneurs If it is your first time seeing me live here. Hey, what's up? My name's Chelsea Stevenson. I am a professional henna artist and business strategist based here in Baltimore, Maryland. And I'm the founder of Hennapreneur. I'm super excited to connect with you guys today for our ask me anything session.

Um, and, I, I have a quite an announcement for you guys as well. So I'm prety excited to share that with you. Also, let me make sure it looks like, Oh gosh, here we go. Ah, I had our questions pulled up here and I just. Clicked away because that's the way that it goes. Isn't it. All right. Here we are.

So the first things first, I want to go ahead and tackle the couple of questions that came in for our session. And then I want to give you guys a big announcement, um, in regards to some changes that are being made here inside of Hennapreneur and that are going to affect us all going forward. So the very first thing let's jump into these questions, right?

So this first Hennapreneur asks, "Chelsea, how do we charge for travel, uh, local traveling. Is it a dollars per mile? What do you typically charge for traveling to another city plus stay for two day events? By the way, where do you shop, girl?"

So I'll answer that first, well, last part of the question. Girl, I shop literally everywhere. A big fan, big fan of all the things. Big fan of the big T, AKA Trouble, AKA Target. Big fan of places like Forever 21. Uh, I'm really getting into like, uh, Ann Taylor recently, and I love to shop little local boutiques so I'm obsessed with finding like other small, like female-owned boutiques and like small businesses. Those are my jam to find all sorts of things.

So that's the, that's the big answer. So I think the most pressing question here, um, I've been in terms of, um, how do we charge for travel, um, and such, uh, I don't. I don't, uh, that's my answer.

So I know that there are people who feel otherwise and who decide to add fees onto their, um, onto their bookings.I don't. I think that it's a strong suit, uh, and it's very wise for you to charge according to what you believe you should be paid. And so part of securing appropriate compensation is, in my opinion, including what that would look like for travel or for, um, if you are to go away. So, um, if it's for local, yeah, I don't charge a, an additional fee and I travel within a three-state radius, so that. That's yeah. I just charge enough to make it not worth my time to have to add on things like that. Uh, I feel, I feel that it's nitpicky, to be honest. And I think that if, uh, if you're finding yourself having to do that, you need to raise your rate.

Um, in regards to traveling for things that are like multiple day events, then that's something that's a little bit different because if I'm working with you for multiple days, that means I'm not working with anyone else for multiple days, which means that I need to be compensated for what would be that loss. So that's a totally different system in terms of how to charge for those or how to, uh, create a, uh, a quote that's appropriate for that sort of service. Um, and so yeah, that I'm not even going to get into it just because it's, that's a whole different topic. Um, but in terms of, and honestly, I don't, I, we're not seeing that so much right now thanks to the 'Rona, um, however, if you want to go a little bit deeper in, in, in all of that and like what it actually looks like to build a service suite, what it looks like to actually build sustainable pricing and whatnot. So next question is, this Hennapreneur asked, "Do you have any tips for simplifying social media strategy and management? I'm trying to post consistently, but struggling to find the time and the mental energy to constantly come up with captions and copy."

Absolutely. There's a whole system that I teach inside of PRO all about this. Um, The bottom line is if you want to simplify your things, you need to be very clear on what your messaging is to your clients.

Like you need–. Messaging is important. So you need to have a very solid foundation, uh, regarding your core values, the values of your business and how those things correlate with and are important to your ideal client. Um, and then you're going to communicate those things over and over and over. I teach a whole system that shows how to build a matrix so that you never, ever, ever are wondering what to post or why to post it or if it's going to land, it's not going to land like. You'll know that when you do it and it will cause for you to not have to reinvent the wheel. So, um, honestly that, that comes down to messaging. And so that there's some deeper work that would need to be done there as well. Um, and again, you guys like these are, these are concepts that I'm teaching inside of my program.

So, um, yeah. That's I want you, I want you to do the things that I want to like give you all the guidance, but also I want need to be respectful of that boundary. So, okay. So I, those were actually the only two questions that came in for this particular Q&A today, which is okay. And actually it's, it takes me to my next point.

So I told you guys that I have a big announcement for you and I do, this is the last, ask me anything. Here on Hennapreneur. Um, the reason for that, it's now been over two years of me providing the, ask me anything sessions every two weeks, uh, which means that there is tons and tons and tons and tons of information that I've already provided.

And I don't want to find myself. Listen, let me just keep it straight with you. This is, this is me being real we're business owners, right? And our time is limited. And so at some point we have to reach it. You reach a place where you realize your time is better spent at other in other things. And for me, No don't be sad.

The good news is it's all been archived. So for me to answer the same questions and I'm getting a lot of the same questions at this point, I have questions that have already been answered. That means that now the onus is on the community. If you want the, the answer to the question, you need to find it.

So this is the beautiful thing. I want to, because it has been two, almost three years of me doing these sessions every, you know, twice, each month, there are tons of videos. There's tons of video content. That's now already available to you. Like at, literally at your fingertips, you just have to go watch it.

Um, and so you guys are welcome to binge those things. I want you to take advantage of them. Okay. I want you to take advantage of them. Part of business ownership is making the investment. And so sometimes that is going to be an investment of your time. This is now going to be like, this is it. So this is a little bit of tough love from me and also me saying, Hey, in order for me to best serve the people who I'm serving inside of my programs, I need to be able to focus my attention there.

Um, so. I have, this is another beautiful thing that's happened too this month with Hennapreneur. Our team has grown, so I've hired on an additional, um, new team member. Her name is Robin. You guys may or may not see her around. She's kind of behind the scenes right now. She's actually in Texas. So things are not the greatest in terms of weather and whatnot, but she is there to help me with.

Uh, making sure that all of the content that has been created is accessible. So I've mentioned in the past that it's super important to me that anything inside of Hennapreneur is made as accessible as possible. So we're working right now. There's a couple of those videos that are still in like the backlog that need to have like captions and whatnot.

It's subtitles added to them, uh, for accessibility sake. So she's working on that literally, like now she was brought on to tackle that first and then we're going to move forward to make sure that additional content is handled in that same way. Uh, because accessibility is like, It's really important to me.

Um, and it's really important to her. And I, I love that. I love that about her. It made her a perfect candidate for the job. Um, so with that said, uh, I want to let you guys know that those resources are going to exist for you. I'm not taking them down, they'll be there. And also it will be easier for you to go through and find what you're actually looking for, because everything will be nice and like timestamped and whatnot and have the things so that it's easy for you to navigate.

Okay. So I got you still. Okay. Also on the note of team growth. So last month we actually invited and invited and I hired on three different team members. So, um, we brought on Robin, who's our content editor. Um, we also brought in coach Kelly, who is our life coach. Who's helping inside of Hennapreneur pro um, she's a certified master neuro coach and she's freaking phenomenal and already like the, the, the T the, uh, group is like loving, loving, loving, Being able to engage her, um, because we do, we like to address you all.

Y'all already know. I'm like, you have to approach things holistically, you have to. And so I'm having her there to support us, um, and support, you know, support the students, support the program, participants through the mindset and the lifestyle things, as well as they're like, attack attacking all of these big audacious goals is amazing.

Um, and then the last person, uh, I shouldn't say the last person because they all came out at the same time, but the final person that also came onto the team is a social strategist. Um, coach Kia, who I'm about to get off of here because we actually have our first kickoff call with her, um, uh, in about 15 minutes, but she is a social strategist.

And because I, like I said, inside of Hennapreneur pro I teach my own methods for that are very specific to what we do. Right. Um, too, in terms of connecting with your clients and connecting with your audience using social media, but I wanted to give some additional support, um, Because I'm not, I'm not the end all be all like, you know, there's always, always, uh, different ideas and opinions.

And I think that that's super important for you guys to have multiple perspectives. So I have now coach Kia has also joined our team. And so every single month there is a call with her as well, where. Literally we're working to not just create the content, but like, or not just ideate around the content as they say, but to actually create the content as well.

So I'm super excited to see her on the team. And can y'all celebrate that with me it's funny, like y'all Like it is such a big deal. First of all, can I just pause? Cause I just have to say when I created Hennapreneur I did not anticipate, like I knew the direction I was going, but I did not anticipate being in this moment right now.

And like being able to say, y'all I have, I have hired now we're a team of five. I have hired four additional female entrepreneurs working in what makes them thrilled and happy and excited about life. To help support my students. Like, is that not wild? Is that? Not wild. Like what Somebody call my mom somebody call my dad.

Like, I'm super proud of that. And I know that they would be too well. I know they are too. So I hope you guys are proud of that too. Like, I hope that you guys are aware of the, Oh my God. My heart is like beating out of my chest right now. Oh my gosh. Like this is the first time I'm really acknowledging this out loud and this feels right.

Really amazing and kind of surreal and absolutely beautiful. And I just want to thank you guys for, for witnessing like this what's happening right now and I'm not going to cry. Okay. that said The team has grown. It's been phenomenal this week. We've been celebrating so many wins, literally just before I got onto this, uh, feed, I saw a post inside of the Hennapreneur Pro community where someone.

Someone received her phone went off and she received her notification that someone, a total random stranger booked purchased her, her largest package and bought extra time upgraded the service, like tipped her, did all the things. And she's like, I never would have seen this coming. Like, these are the things that have been happening inside of the Hennapreneur community.

Um, inside of Pro and I just it's like every day I wake up and I'm just absolutely enamored by. That the ability to, to hold this space for these artists. The first time she'd ever cleared a thousand dollars in, um, in a month. And she was like, I never would have expected this. And I'm like, sis just stick with me. But the reason why I bring this up is I keep telling y'all, I'm here to help you grow five figure businesses.

And when I say that it could be five figure like this. A thousand dollars a month is five figures y'all Um, when you look at that annual revenue, but also if it, like, if you're wanting to go big, if you want it to do what I do, I literally teach you this inside of the program.
